Safe Haven Services Ltd is a dynamic new company which provides supported accommodation for indigenous and unaccompanied Asylum- Seeking Children aged 16-18. We are committed to providing high quality care and support to young people in a caring and positive environment in which they can achieve independence, fulfil their potential and realise personal goals. Our service is targeted to support young people who are making the transition from care to independence including those who may still require additional care and support.
We believe that:
All young people, irrespective of race, religion, gender, sexuality or social disadvantage deserve the opportunity to maximise their potential and that with the right support and care, every child can achieve successful outcomes while learning to live independently.
Young people have the right to develop their personal and educational potential to the full and the responsibility to contribute to society through positive citizenship. Young people are most likely to realise these goals if they are treated with respect and dignity and share with their carers, high expectations for their future.
Our services are provided in accordance with the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 and the Children Acts 1989 and 2004 (and additionally any relevant government and/or statutory regulations and guidance).
Our aim is to provide targeted and personalised care and support in supported accommodation to vulnerable young people specifically those deemed as hard to engage or challenging.
We recognise the importance of providing all round support that focuses on each young person’s practical, educational, social and emotional needs.
